Royal Electric Company is a recognized leader in the electrical construction industry.  Our service department has a team of highly trained electrical technicians that provide quality work serving Property Managers, Residential and Commercial customers and their everyday electrical needs. 

The Construction Project Coordinator position will oversee accounting and billing functions of Royal’s Service Department. 
Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing, organizing, and managing project document files per company protocols.
  • Producing, reviewing and finalizing accurate billing for the Service Department.
  • Tracking and updating the status of invoices/billing schedule.
  • Evaluating contract documents and support for agreement with contract requirements. 
  • Working directly with the Project Manager and Superintendent in tracking budgets, change orders, contract terms, etc.
  • Tracking and monitoring change order documents from log in through final resolution, ensuring change orders are addressed in a timely fashion.
  • Acting as a liaison between the Project Manager, Superintendent, Accounting, and Purchasing to solve issues impacting service projects.
Qualified Candidate will have the following:
  • Minimum 3 years of billing and/or accounting experience in the construction industry preferred.
  • Experience with construction documents such as retention billings, contracts, time and material billing, and change orders.
  • Must be organized, accurate, and detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and prioritize as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Must have proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite.  Spectrum Accounting software a plus.
